This is again a year of another success story for the UAE Parajiya's. Credit goes to the enthusiastic committee members for bringing all their efforts and initiative, working tirelessly to present the Samaj members with another memorable 'SNEH MILAN" for the year 2009, the annual event that our Samaj has been doing it for the last 50 years.

It was certainly not an easy task specially to organise such a big event in a short time just after the Navratri festival but some how the present committee members managed to pulled it off. Sneh Milan 2009 was packed with all the best ingredients to make it a huge success. Let me take you all to the Sneh Milan event, a night that brought more than 1000 samaj members getting together from all over the UAE.

The arena of the Sudanese club was beautifully decorated with all the amenities taken care of for the enjoyment of our Samaj members. It was a well managed and efficiently handled by the committee members right from the gates for the smooth entry of our members to the seating for all to enjoy watching their siblings or kids be called on stage and awarded for their excellence in their respective grades. The list of students who awarded the prizes are listed underneath.

The Sudanese club members were very much appreciated for their cooperation that helped make this event a great success. These club members were also honoured with a memento for their services rendered to our community.

Festival also means EATS & DRINKS and was the highlight of the evening.  There were well organised counters serving hot snacks MINI PIZZAS, SPRING ROLLS along with the main course which included UNDHIYU, MOONG DAL AND MANY MORE ITEMS along with the cold beverages & not to miss the special desert of the evening - RAS MALAI, ICE CREAM AND mouth watering HOT JALEBI WITH MILK CREAM.

The evening concluded with a raffle draw that included great prizes and the grand prize was a return air ticket from Dubai to Mumbai which was sponsored by the local travel agency DNATA.

About 1000-1100 Parajiyas attended the function; all had a great time enjoying the festivities that were laid out by the committee at no cost to our members.

This Diwali, we wish to announce the grand celebration of our Sneh-Milan programme and invite all members of Shri Parajiya Soni Samaj U.AE. and their families to attend this event.

We request all the Parajiya Soni Samaj students to bring their emails and mobile contact numbers with their current standard of education to register them in our new YOUTH GROUP.

IMPORTANT

• In keeping with local regulations and for the safety of all, do not bring or use fireworks at the venue. Strictly restrain children from using any kind of fireworks.
• Students who have successfully applied for the Educational Awards must bring their original marks-sheet for verification at the ceremony.
• All members who may not have received this notification individually are requested to treat it as a personal invitation to attend the event.
• This is in addition and correction to the date of the previous circular for Educational Awards Ceremony from 20/10/2009 to the correct day 19/10/2009.
