Nav-Kundi Shanti Yagna performed by Parajiya Sonis

On Friday (Jaya Ekadashi) the 6th of February 2009, our Group of friends carried out a "Nav-Kundi Shanti Yagna". (Jaya Ekadashi is an auspicious day in the month of Maha. For more reading click Significance:Jaya Ekadashi and Vijaya Ekadashi
Except for one couple, all the participants are Parajiya Soni's. The Yagna venue was in
All the men wore Dhotis and the women were in sarees. All the conditions set by the Maharaj were adhered to by all the participants.
The Ladies had decorated their own Aarti-dish and had also prepared fresh Mithai.
Nine Havan Kundis were constructed the previous day. Nine Brahmins directing at each Kundi.
The Chief-Conductor of the Yagna, Shree Hitesh-Maharaj, informed us that we were very fortunate to carry out this ceremony successfully here in the UAE. He added that the Yagna shall benefit the Samaj as well.

After completion of the Havan we all congregated for prasad. Due to limitaions of available space, we had managed to invite only close family members to witness the Event.
