SNEH MILAN PROGRAM & EDUCATIONAL AWARDS

The scheme is to encourage children of the Shree Parajiya Soni Samaj who are residing in the U.A.E. to excel in their studies, and to acknowledge the hard work & efforts of those who have achieved a high level of academic performance.

ELIGIBILITY FOR THE STUDENT AWARD SCHEME IS AS FOLLOWS:

Category I –    From 3rd to 5th Standard       To qualify, marks required are 75% and above

Category II –   From 6th to 8th Standard        To qualify, marks required are 65% and above

Category III –  From 9th to 12th Standard      To qualify, marks required are 60% and above

Category IV –  For GCSE and ‘A’ Level          To qualify, marks required are 60% and above

Category V –   College & University                Will be assessed on a case to case basis

ü       For GCSE and ‘A’ Level, students must provide the percentage marks of each subject according to the grade obtained.

ü       For the first four categories, all successful applicants will be honored with a certificate, and the three highest-scoring students in each category will also be awarded the 1st, 2nd & 3rd prizes.

ü       For the fourth and fifth category, applications from overseas students can also be accepted if the student is normally resident in the UAE.

ü       For the fifth category, the 1st, 2nd & 3rd prizes may not be applicable. In case the certification is from a local college or institute, it must be a government approved institution.

ü       Eligible   Students   or   their  representative  should  submit   a  copy  of  their  Marks-Sheet  on   or  before  4th  November  2007  to any  of  the  collection  points mentioned  below.

Note that the successful applicants will be required to bring their original Marks-Sheet to the Awards Ceremony.

ü       Kindly do not submit the mark sheet after the deadline as it will not be accepted under any circumstances.
