Largest Construction Project Undertaken
by Rajkot Mahamandal - Pride of our Community

Largest Construction Project Undertaken by Rajkot Mahamandal

Work is currently underway on the Rs 4,00,00,000 (Rs 4 crore - approx USD 600,000) largest construction project ever undertaken by the Rajkot Samaj.

The 3 storey building known as Mohanbhai Hall will be completely reconstructed and refurbished to make 3 large Halls, numerous rooms, senior citizen dining hall, kitchens, etc.,

The project was kick started in July 2018 when

Babubhai Shamardas Dhanak & Family of Heera Matushri Charitable Trust offered to pay for the full expense towards the 1000 capacity Banqueting Hall on the 2nd Floor. The cost of construction is estimated to be well in excess of Rs 1,00,00,000 (one crore).

Jayantibhai Popatbhai Satikuvar (J P Jewellers) & Family, Rajkot donated Rs 51,00,000 (51 Lacs) towards 3rd floor AC Hall with 5 rooms in memory of Late Bharatbhai Jayantibhai Satikuvar.

Mrs Shardaben and Mr Ramniklal Kanjibhai Dhakan & Family (R K Jewellers), Ahmedabad  donated Rs 41,00,000 (41 Lacs) towards the renovation of the main Mohanbhai Hall.

Harshadbhai Rana and Family, Nairobi PBH Trustee donated Rs 11,00,000 (11 Lacs) towards the Senior Citizen Dining Hall in memory of their mother Late Santokben Popatlal Rana.

Apart from the above major donations, many Parajiya Pattni members have made generous donations. The full list of all the donations will be published soon on Pattni Connection. There is still a shortfall of Rs 1.5 crore to complete the project. The Mahamandal committee has sent out an appeal to donate. Further details on the appeal will be published later on the website.

This is a mega project and will take a year to complete.
