Medical camp evokes good response

The free medical camp organised by Pattni Brotherhood at the Pattni Brotherhood Hall on Saturday, 23rd January 2010 got a very good response.
More than 150 people attended the medical camp for lecture and consultations.
A team of doctors were available throughout the day for consultation. They came from different medical fields including Bone - joint replacement & Spine Surgery, Liver, Gastro intestinal - colorectal and laparoscopic, Kidney, Prostate, Urology, Cancer - Head, Neck, Breast, GI and other cancers, Cardiologist- Heart, Angiography, Pediatric cardiac specialist provided medical advise to the patients.

The medical camp was inaugurated by the Pattni Brotherhood Chairman Shree Vijaybhai Ghaghada.
Trustees Shree Chandubhai Challa and Shree Harshadbhai Rana visited the camp and complimented the convener Mr. Sandeep Ghaghada and the Committee for holding such a camp that benefitted so many Pattni members.

After completing his post graduation in orthopedic from Ahmedabad, he worked in UK for 6 years for higher surgical training sponsored by The Royal College of Surgeons of England.
He is one of the few surgeons in Gujarat having done wide range of specialized training in USA, Germany, Singapore & Australia and practicing mainly in field of joint replacement, spine surgery, complex trauma care and cold orthopedics.

Dr. Hemang Bakshi is a Urologist & Uro-Oncologist and is practicing since 15 years. He is one of the few Indian Urologists to be awarded the prestigious international S.I.U. (Paris) scholarship in 1997 for advanced training abroad. Training in Uro-Oncology was taken in centres across U.S.A. and U.K.. His main areas of interest, experience and expertise are Uro-Oncology – all major cancer surgeries of the Genitourinary Tract, Laparoscopic Urology, Endourology & Reconstructive Urology. He is a visiting Uro-Oncologist at a Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute (G.C.R.I.) Ahmedabad , which is a major tertiary cancer care centre in Gujarat.

Dr. Hitesh Chavda is senior consultant Hepatobiliary/Liver transplant surgeon. He completed his advance surgical training and obtained his surgical fellowship (FRCS) from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK in 1999. He obtained advanced training in Liver Surgery in Paris, France and obtained further training in Paris, France and obtained further training in Hepatopancreatobiliary surgery from Heidelberg, Germany in 2004. In year 2007, he completed one-year fellowship training in Liver Surgery & Transplantation at the Asian Center for Liver Surgery & Transplantation. His transplant programme is the only private centre in Asia to reach this historical milestone.
