Recital of Gayatri Mantra - Coach Trip To Southend-On-Sea 2013

Leicester Pattni Soni Mahila Mandal

Shravan Maas Puja, Havan and Katha held on 23rd August

Mahila Mandal organised Havan and Katha on Saturday 23rd August 2014 at Belgrave Neighbourhood centre in Leicester.

A ritualistic puja was performed to overcome the sorrows of life and bringing spiritual advancement.

Puja and Havan ceremonies were performed by Pandit Kalpesh Maharaj of Ram Mandir. Kalpesh Maharaj is famous for performing authentic rituals as per the Vedas
and holy books. He was also kind enough to explain the meaning of the rituals and why they are being performed in a specific manner.

Kalpesh Maharaj started the programme by Ganpati poojan followed by Katha reading and Havan.

Aarti was performed after the katha and havan followed by the Thal offerings and Maha Prashad.

Such programmes are not complete without Raas Garba! All Mahilas participated with full vigour and enthusiasm making it a memorable day.

Organising a successful event is really all about good planning. Mahila Mandal would like to thank thanks Bhanuben Himatlal dhanak and Madhuben Navinbhai Dhanak
and all volunteers for their hard work and contribution making these events a great success.
