Bhaskerbhai Dhanak, secretary of Pattni Brotherhood was in UK for few days a fortnight ago. We were invited to meet the PPA Luton & MK Committee.

We were warmly welcomed at the President Bharatbhai Devdan Ranchod Dhanak’s residence where we discussed a wide range of important issues over a cup of masala chai.

Secretary Bhaskerbhai updated us about the tremendous progress made by Pattni Brotherhood in Nairobi that has now not only become self sufficient but generating a surplus income. He extended a formal invitation to the PPA Luton committee to visit Nairobi to attend functions planned for this August.

Team GB

As the committee member of the India Soni Federation Coordinating Committee, I updated them about the World Gathering that was held at Dwarka. We all agreed that whenever we have a second such gathering, UK members will go out together as Team GB.

Samuh Charity

Following the successful Samuh Charity that was organized during my last visit to Mombasa, there was a very positive response to the proposal that we organise an Eye Camp later this year. Further details will be posted later.

Future of Pattni Connection Website

There were also discussions about the future of Pattni Connection website. A unanimous opinion was that the Pattni Connection website is now a global brand and stopping the website is not an option and should continue serving our community. PPA Luton & MK committee and on behalf of Pattni Brotherhood pledged their full support for the website.
