Shree Sahastra Chandi Mahayag - Grand Yagna
to seek blessings of Shree Hingraj Mataji.

Short History of Parajiya Sonis:
In the year 145 A.D. a Kshatriya called Hukamsinh Parmar, a devotee of Mataji prayed to Hingraj Mataji. He and other Kshatriya who joined in the prayers pleaded Mataji for her forgiveness for their misdeeds and also asked for her guidance.
Legend has it that Mataji answered to his sincere prayers and by giving him jewellery tools and teaching him the jewellery business.
Hukamsinh Paramar then taught this business to his followers and their children. This community from Parajav city then became goldsmiths and jewellers and was called Parajiya Soni Samaj. Hukamsinh Parmar thus is the first person to become a Parajiya Soni.
Maha Yagna - A Historic Event:
Such an event was held by Hukamsinh Parmar in 145 AD. So this Maha Yagna is being held after 1850 years. This is truly a historic event that all three Parajiya Soni community will be getting together to pray to Hingraj Mataji and seek her blessings.
Mantra Jaap Ceremony
The grand ceremony of reciting 1.25 Crore (12.5 Million) Jaap
To seek the blessing of Shree Hingraj Mataji “Mantra Jaap Anushthan” will be held daily.

The Parajiya Community members are invited to attend this ceremony to seek blessing of Shree Hingraj Mata and also your own Kurdevi. We request all three Parajiya Soni Communities to participate in this five days mega event.
