Shreemad Bhagwat Saptah held at
the Mombasa ISKCON Hare Krishna Temple hosted by the family of Jayantibhai
Jamnadas Nathoo Satikuvar in memory of Late Hansaben Jayantilal
Satikuvar Pattni of Mombasa on Sunday 25th March 2018 was successfully
concluded recently on Sunday 25th March 2018.
Shree Parajia Pattni Samaj, Mombasa honoured Kathavyas Shree Kundal Krishna Das.
Shrimad Bhagwat Saptah is primarily
arranged when there was a death in the family. Katha narration creates a divine
transformation, bringing to a grief ridden family solace, comfort, drew the
family out of their sorrow and removed them from their mourning. Shreemad
Bhagwat Geeta Katha was recited beautifully by Kathavyas Shree Kundal
Krishna Das from Porbandar, Gujarat, India.
The mother of Late Hansaben
Jayantilal Pattni, Narabdaben Chunilal Sagar from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania was
also honoured.
Elders of our community Bhanumatiben Bhagwanji Devji Ghagdha and Narabdaben
Chunilal Sagar who are both over 90 expressed their joy at the event amd
showered their blessings to the host family, our Samaj families and the Mombasa
Hindu community.
The Trustees, Chairman &
executive board of SPPS also honoured the host family with shawl &
expressed joy & satisfaction of Katha being hosted in Mombasa after a long
time.

After the Purnhuti Yagna (final
offering) on Monday 26th March, the Pothi was taken to the residence of Late
Bhagwanji Devji Ghagdha family and the newly opened Spice & Vegetable shop
of Mr Rajeshbhai Shivji Morarji Sakaria where it was received with great
enthusiasm by the families and the community. Blessings were showered along the
Nyali suburb of Mombasa city during the Holy Yatra.
It was a memorable Saptah and the katha were celebrated with great
enthusiasm and fervor.
