NAVRATRI 2015 CELEBRATIONS

     

Shree Parajia Pattni Samaj had a very successful Navratri celebration.

This year we had the pleasure of the company of the Hindu Council of Kenya, Mombasa County members paying a visit.

Divine atmosphere


The Hindu Council visited all member institutions celebrating Navratri this year.

There were two best dressed & best player prizes.

Best dressed lady prize went to Mrs Shalini Vishal Soni & best player Mrs Nikhila Deven Pattni.

Best dressed male prize was awarded to Mr Jai Rajesh Sakaria & best male player to Hindu Council member son Ankit Kailesh Tailor.
       

Guest judge was from the UK Mrs Manuben Narendra Thadeshwar.

Menu was farari potato curry, farari chevdo, yogurt, Mombasa mix chana bateta & green chili daal bhajia.

    

 

All enjoyed the evening with lots of blessings & fun playing sanero, kaka bapa & thapo garba & dandia raas.

Atham Havan held at Mombasa Samaj

The Atham Havan was held on Wednesday 21st October 2015.

The yajman was the family of late Hirji Virji Ghagdha.

 

The Assistant Indian High Commissioner to Mombasa His Excellency Shree Sanjeev Khanduri was also present. He was given the honour to perform the Mataji Aarti.

Maha Prashad was Oundhyu, Potato Curry, Mug Bhat, Kachori, Pickles, Papadums, Puri, Ice cold Masala Lassi with Dhania and Ice cream for dessert.

 All enjoyed & parted with joy. Thank you.

We are now approaching the festive season of Navratri. We have lined up the festive days for your enjoyment, blessings & Darshan.


     

Navratri starts on


Tuesday 13th  Oct 2015 : Aarti Yajmaan, Hemlataben & Meenaben.


Wednesday 14th Oct :  Aarti Yajmaan, Manjulaben & Tarunaben.


Thursday 15th Oct : Aarti Yajmaan, Nitaben – Krishnaben.


Friday 16th Oct :  Aarti Yajmaan, Chhayaben – Priyaben Brijesh.


Saturday 17th Oct : Aarti Yajmaan, Priyaben Vimal – Sunitaben.


Sunday 18th Oct : Aarti Yajmaan, Sadhnaben – Kirtiben.


Monday 19th Oct : Aarti Yajmaan, Sheelaben – Pritiben.


Tuesday 20th Oct : Aarti Yajmaan, Samuh Aarti. Atham Day.


Wednesday 21st Oct : Aarti Yajmaan, Samuh Aarti. Dassrea Day.


Timings first day only 10.30am - 11.30am,


Rest of the days 10am - 11am daily.


Garba with DJ on 19th October 2015


On Monday 19th October, Garba with music by DJ in the evening from 7.30pm onwards followed by Aarti, Thar offering & Maha Prashad dinner.

(Please confirm your attendance for both day’s for catering purposes by Thursday 15th Oct.)


Atham Yagna on 20th October 2015


On Tuesday 20th Oct. from 2.30pm the Atham Yagna ceremony will be performed till 5.30pm.


 Time for Biddu ceremony followed by Mataji Aarti, Thar offering & Maha Prashad at 7.00pm.


This year’s Yajmaan for this auspicious occasion is the family of Late Hirji Virji Ghaghada.
