Guests from Nairobi Kisumu and Dar es Salaam as well as international guests from Birmingham & Luton (UK) attended this historic celebration.

Guests started arriving early morning with great expectation of taking part in celebrating the Samaj historic event. Most of the guests had arrived by 8.00am. They were warmly welcome by the committee and given scrumptious South Indian / Gujarati breakfast of Idli Sambhar, Thepla, Chevdo & piping hot masala tea & coffee.

As many of guests had travelled long distances, all went to rest thereafter and met again for a Punjabi Lunch of Flower Gobi curry, Potato curry, Punjabi style full Addad daal, puri, & ice-cold lassi.

Bharatbhai Bhimji Ratanshi, Hon. Chairman Speech by the Chairman Respected elders, trustees, esteemed national & international visiting guests, VIP guests, Ladies & Gentleman.   It is indeed a historic moment to welcome & host you all to these auspicious occasions of the twin anniversary celebrations of golden & diamond jubilees & the opening of P.J. Centre, Mombasa.   We remember our past leaders some of whom are not with us but will always in our thoughts and it is because of them that we have a place of our own today.   The idea of putting up a money generating plan was conceived by the management committee after many brain storming meetings to make our Samaj self sufficient in its day to day maintenance and probably in the future form a relief fund for education & health. Today we are proud to say that we have achieved our first goal & with the grace of the almighty and support from well wishers we will attain great heights. We are truly thankful to Pattni Connection & Pattni Brotherhood who have been our inspiration as well as get international exposure in the Pattni world. Last but never the least I take this opportunity to thank our Trustees, my dynamic committee & the general membership of our samaj for their support to make this day a reality. On behalf of the hon. trustees, hon. Chairman, myself, executive committee & all members of Shree Parajia Pattni Samaj, Mombasa warmly welcomes all guests to these auspicious celebrations of twin jubilee celebrations of 60 golden years since the opening of our Samaj & diamond jubilee since its inauguration as well as opening of P.J. Centre, opening of Shree Wageshwari Mataji temple to its new location & Pramukh Dwar Pravesh.   We sincerely hope you will all enjoy our hospitality, fellowship & the delicious meals until the rest of your stay.   On behalf of all present, I take this opportunity to wish our Pattni Connection webmaster Pranlalbhai Dhanak a happy 65th birthday & pray that he may continue serving our community to great heights.   Last but never the least our own long serving former secretary Shree Keshubhai Damji Lakha, Ghaghada called me this morning to wish us all for the good deeds we are doing for this Samaj. He was supposed to be present today with us all but due to unavoidable circumstances he had to postpone his trip.
