Samuh Gayatri Yagna was held on Sunday 18th March 2018.
Devotees participating in the yagna
Gayatri Yagna assists to ward off all misery, protect
one from harm, bestow inner strength and gain of peace of mind.
Our Samuh Gayatri Yagna function was truly a great day
for all members.
Mostly of the Mombasa members were present right from
the beginning of the event. We also had a UK guest Mrs Bhanuben Dwarkadas
Bhura.
The function started with Hanumanji Pooja at 9.15am
till 10.30am.

There was for a break after for all members to enjoy
masala tea & ice cold passion juice.
The Gayatri Yagna commenced at 11.00am when all
members were present.

At the end of the yagna, biddu ceremony took place at
12.30pm.

The yagna concluded with the Thaar offerings &
finally Mataji Aarti.

|
All members enjoyed Kathiawadi Lunch Prashad.
Menu was as follows:-
Stuffed Brinjal, potato & red chili curry
Sev & tomato curry
Rotla & Methi Thepla
Methi bhajia & Maru bhajia with assorted chutneys
Churma Laddu
Mango & chili pickle
Papadum
Stuffed flour green chilies
Kadhi & Khichdi
Ice cold masala lassi.

When you feel depressed, chant Gayatri Mantra and recite Gayatri Chalisa. You will be filled with new vigour and strength. The chanting of Mantra is a powerful tonic.
When you chant Mantra, you feel you are the pure, all pervading light and consciousness.
Chant out loud. When done aloud and particularly when done with others, the sound of Chalisa is energizing, calming, and healing.
The vibration produced by chanting Gayatri Mantra and Gayatri Chalisa in the physical universe corresponds to the original vibration that first arose at the time of creation.
The Gayatri Mantra was first recorded in the Rig Veda which was written in Sanskrit about 2500 to 3500 years ago, and is believed that the mantra may have been chanted for
many generations before that. It is one of the oldest prayers known to humanity, being as ancient as light and also the vital force itself.
The Mantra is chanted in the Sanskrit language and is most effective chanted in original Sanskrit.
