It gives me great to publish our new on-line Jamnagar Samaj Section on the Pattni Connection website.

This year, we celebrate Golden Jubilee of the "Parajiya Prakash" newsletter. It was 50 years ago, in January 1960, when the first issue of the newsletter was published by Jamnagar Samaj.

History of Parajiya Prakash - celebrating the Golden Jubilee

First issue of Parajiya Prakash was published in 1960. Shri Suvarnakala Hunnershala (Jewellery school) was also started at Bhanvad at the same time. It was the first of its kind in our community and there were 20/30 students learning soni kam there. After a big conference in 1961, Rajkot Mahamandal was formed at Bhanvad and there after Bhanvad hunnershala was closed.

What a nice coincidence that the Pattni Connection website will be also be celebrating the 5th Anniversary.
