A report on the Executive committee meeting of the Federation in Jasdan

Seventh Committee meeting of the Shri Akhil Bharatiya Parajiya Soni Gnati Federation was held on Sunday, 23rd April 2006 at Shree Vashram Ramjibhai Soni Wadi.
Keeping in regular contact and exchanging the views of all the members is always the main aim of such meetings.
The guests from all over
A two minute of silence was observed in memory of Late Shree Shankarbhai Vajubhai Soni, of Mumbai, originally from Jadan who passed away recently. Shree Shankarbhai was an active community worker in religious, educational organisation and also a trustee of our Soni Samaj. President of the Yuvak Mandal, Shree Pramodbhai Thadeswar welcomed all the guests and thanked the federation committee for organising this meeting in Jasdan.
Pattni and Giranara Sonis Unity
The first part of the meeting was an open session where various topics like importance of education and the Soni Federation were discussed. On the Federation, Shree Gunwantbhai Dhorda stressed that the Federation must be made even more stronger. When other communities like Brahmin, Navnat Vania, Leva/Kadwa Patel are now becoming one Samaj, then there is no reason why we Parajiya Pattnis and Parajiya Girnara Sonis cannot be united as one.
Girl Education
On education, the federation President Shree Dhirubhai Dhakan stressed that Pattni girls must be encouraged to go for further education. It agreed that it will take time for our Pattni girls to become active but was confident that it will happen soon and will become an asset to our community. He stressed that the federation must be at the fore front to offer financial help if required by any Pattni girls to go for further education.

The other agenda in the meeting was the plan to launch two books by Late Shree Devayatbhai Soni which were published by the Federation. The committee agreed to hold a grand function at one of the
A Donation of Rs11,000
Shree Arvindbhai Zaveri of Mumbai who attended the meeting was impressed with the idea of the encouraging our Pattni girls to go for higher education and announced a donation of Rs 11,0000 towards such a fund. Members welcomed such a generosity. Nomination for Shree Bhaskarbhai Thadeswar as the Vice President of Chotila Chamunda Mataji Dharam Shala Trust and Shree Chimanbhai Thadeswar as the trustee of the Federation were welcomed and both of them were congratulated by the members.
The members then went around the Samaj to see the progress of the building work that is being going on. The building that will become a landmark for Soni Samaj was appreciated. Vice President Bhaskarbhai congratulated the volunteers for their work.
Vote of Thanks
Shree Kantibhai Ghaghada passed the vote of thanks and said that this meeting showed how we are united and the fact that the federation has now 4/5 invitations by the local Samaj to hold future meetings in their local areas showed the keen interest by the members. We should all be proud of our achievements. He appreciated the local volunteers for their effort in organising such a smooth event.
Pattni Connection website recognised
Federation passed a resolution and thanked the www.PattniConnection.com website which has become the world famous site for the Pattnis for giving the publicity of their Federation. Unity in our Samaj can lead to our progress. Pattni Connection website has made such unity possible.
Our Soni Samajs unite and progress is the primary aim of the federation. With such a wish and hope, the meeting was concluded

Parajiya Soni Gnati donors are always helpful to society whether it is Soni community or other samaj. One of the incidents came in light at federation level which makes us proud Parajiya pattni.
One needy pattni college girl has applied to federation for help for aid for cost of books and college fees. Federation President Mr. Dhirubhai Dhakan and Treasurer Mr. Kantibhai Ghaghada had contacted one community well-wisher at Mumbai and that noble donor had sent the cheque for assisting needy girl to complete her higher study of engineering at Ahmedabad college. The donor had kept condition that his name is not to be disclosed.
This shows the real donor ship. This act keeps our head up with Paraj Khamir and we are proud of such donor we have. Federation has always tried level best to raise funds for betterment of education to community children. This incident has boosted the moral of community and federation activity.
