Donation to Soni Federation

During the AGM at Mahuva, members of various samaj and donors/well wishers have declared following donations to the Federation to fulfil its various objectives.
Mahuva Wadi
Mahuva Wadi has holy temple of Vagheshwari Mataji at the entry gate. This temple is 105 years ago and was built by Late Shri Narotamdas Bhau - a well known and famous Zaveri in India in those days.
Present President Mr. Bhaskarbhai Dhorda and his parivar has donated Rs. 51,000/- for Akhand Deep (Jyot) in temple

Tri-annual General Meeting
27th April 2007
You would all recall that we held our first General Meeting on the 8th April 2001 in Jamnagar when we invited all the Parajiya Soni Samaj / Associations representatives and formed a Federation called Shri Akhil Bhartiya Prajiya Soni Gnati Federation.
As per the laws in India, the new Federation was registered at the Charity Commissioner Office and the Income Tax Office. Since the formation the Federation committee has held meetings in Dwarka, Bhavnagar, Amdavad, Jetpur, Jasdan and Una. As the term of the present committee expires, the four-yearly general meeting will be held in Mahua to elect the new office bearers. The agenda of the meeting is attached herewith.
We request three representatives of each Samaj / Gnati Mandals to attend the meeting. Samaj committees are requested to inform the Federation Secretary if there are any changes in the names of representatives who already registered with us, by completing an application form in duplicate - one copy for the office use and the duplicate to bring along at the meeting. If possible, we also request to bring a letter of authority from your respective Samajs nominating to act as the representative on their behalf. Those Samaj who would like to join the Federation as new members are requested to fill and submit an application form prior to attending the meeting.
For those members who are unable to make travel arrangement to attend the meeting on Sunday, the Federation have made a special arrangement for lodging and boarding so that they can come a day early on Saturday. In any case, representatives are requested to contact the Federation to advice of their travel plans by 20th May 2007.
