From Editor :

The World gathering was unfortunately marred by sadness. After the first opening session of the World Conference at the Sanatan Mandal Hall and the lunch thereafter, it was time to go to the Dwarkadhish Mandir for the Dhwaja Arohan (flag hosting ceremony) on the Mandir. Hundreds of Pattnis were making their way to the temple. While travelling to the mandir in a rickshaw with other committee members, Shree Manharbhai Dhakan suffered a massive heart attack and sadly passed away.

No words of comfort can really help in times of family’s loss and grief. The only comfort I can offer is that he passed away while heading to the Lord Krishna’s temple as if he was prepared for entering the spiritual realm of Bhagwan Shree Krishna.

As a mark of respect, the remaining program and special session of the Federation was cancelled. Prayer Meeting was held the same evening followed by the simple dinner of Chaas rotla and khichdi. This was the first time that our community members from so many countries had ever gathered together to pay homage to a departed soul.

On behalf of the community, we send our sincere condolences to the family. May Bhagwan Krishna, Dwarkadheesh, give him eternal rest and may his soul rest in peace.
