Wandsworth Business Awards 2016

It’s celebration time for best in business

One of the London’s borough the Wandsworth borough recognised best businesses at the 2015 Wandsworth Businesses Awards.


Minar Jewellers - winners of the SME Award

Minar Jewellers was declared the winner of the Best Wandsworth borough Small to Medium enterprise ( SME ) at a glittering ceremony on Friday, 4th December 2015,


The borough of Wandswoth is made up of the town centres of Tooting, Balham, Clapham, Battersea, Putney, Roehampton and Wandsworth consisting of over 16000 businesses.


Hundreds of companies put themselves forward in ten categories and, after they were shortlisted, the winners were announced at a gala dinner-dance at the Roehampton Club.


Pravin Amratlal Mulji Pattni (Kagada) in his message to our community said “We feel very proud of our achievement.

We were also "Commended" as The Best Independent Retailer 2015. We were also Comended as "The Best  Independent Retailer". The borough of Wandsworth has over 16000 businesses

and we were very pleased to be the Winners”.

 

The presentation of the award was held on Monday, 4th January 2016.

Minar Jewellers (London) wins the Best Independent Retailer Award

The family run business by Pravinbhai Amratlal Mulji Pattni (Kagadada) won the Award for “The Best Independent Retailer" and were runners up and highly commended as "Best SME" in London.

The Wandsworth Business Awards is an exciting programme developed and organised by Wandsworth Chamber of Commerce to reward and celebrate the borough‘s many dynamic and innovative businesses.

The borough of Wandsworth is made up of the town centres of Tooting, Balham, Clapham, Battersea, Putney, Roehampton and Wandsworth consisting of over 15000 businesses across the spectrum.

The awards ceremony was held on 6th November 2014 at the prestigious Roehampton club where Minar Jewellers won the Award for "The Best Independent Retailer" and were runners up and
highly commended as "Best SME".

The National Association of Goldsmiths (N.A.G)
appoints Pravin Pattni to become its new chairman.

Pravin Pattni, owner of Minar Jewellers in Tooting, London will take the position after two years of being vice-chairman of the council.

Pravinbhai Amratlal Mulji Kagadada, born in Eldoret whose family is originally from Dhutarpur, India, came to England in 1974 and started his business from scratch.

After passing his FGA and DGA in 1983, Pattni expanded into the diamond business. He joined the N.A.G. in 1998, first becoming a council member and then joining the board.

The National Association of Goldsmiths has over 1800 Members with over 3000 shops nationwide include The Goldsmiths Group, Signet Group, Tiffany & Co., Zale Corporation, Beaverbrooks and
F Hinds, as well as the majority of established independent Jewellers.
