Mansukhbhai Salla Invited to Give Distinguished Speaker Lecture

at New Jersey (USA) Function

Mansukhbhai Salla, famous scholar of our community was invited by the President of Gujarati literary Academy of North America, Ramjibhai Gadhavi
to give a give the keynote address at its Academy centenary celebration. The Celebration held a three day event on September 12th, 13th and 14th September 2014.

He will be speaking on the Birth Centenary Celebration of Shri Manubhai Pancholi is a Gujarati language novelist, author and educationist from Gujarat, India.
He is also known by his pen name, Darshak. He participated in Indian independence movement and held several offices after independence. He received
Ranjitram Suvarna Chandrak in 1964, Sahitya Akademi Award to Gujarati Writers for Socrates in 1975

Visiting scholar Mansukbhai Salla will give the keynote address. The celebration will include book exhibition, video clip of a unique play, readings and vachik abhinay.

Mansukhbhai Salla’s 45 days trip to USA  will include visit to Boston, Baltimore, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, etc.,

Shri Gunvant Shah and BJP MLA Shri Kanubhai Kalsaria at a function held at Lokbharti Sanosara campus in Bhavnagar district.

 

Raghuvir Chaudhary, Mansukh Salla, Rajendra Patel, Arunbhai Dave, Prakashbhai Shah, Dalsukhbhai Godhani, Dipeshbhai Shrof, Nanubhai Vaghani, Bhadrayu
Vachcharajani, Yashvantbhai Shahn, Ramchandra Pancholi, Hasmukh Devmurari, Harishchandrabhai Joshi and others were part of the function.

Shri Salla was a close associate of Shri Manubhai and spent decades with him which provided deep insights into the works and life of Darshak.

Shri Mansukhbhai Salla is a writer, educationist and Gandhian .He graduated from Lokbharati - an educational institution co-founded by Shri Nanabhai Bhatt and Shri Darshak -
has received a Master's degree from Gujarat Vidyapeeth.

Currently he is President of the Gujarat Kelavani Parishad, a trustee of the Darshak Foundation, a member of the executive committee of India Literary Academy and many

Mansukhbhai Salla Honoured by Gujarati Sahitya Academy

It is with great pleasure to inform our community that Mansukhbhai Salla has been honoured
by the highest literary award by the Gujarati Sahitya Akademi  for his book “Haiye Pagla Tajja”

 

Sahitya Akademi is India’s National Academy of Letters supported by government of India.

Sahitya Akademi Award is one of the highest literary honour in India which annually confers
on writers of outstanding works in one of the following twenty four major Indian languages
that Sahiya Academi supports.

 

Every year since its inception in 1954, the Sahitya Akademi awards prizes. These awards
are given after a year-long process of scrutiny, discussion and selection.

 

On Friday, 18th January 2013 Mansukhbhai was with Anantrai Manishankar Raval Literary
Award at a glittering ceremony.

 

With another highest award, bestowed by Gujarati Sahitya Academy in October 2013, I am
sure the whole Parajiya Pattni community worldwide will extend their heartiest congratulations 
to Mansukhbhai on this glorious achievement.

Mansukhbhai Salla Honoured with Anantrai Manishankar Raval Literary Award

Mansukhbhai Salla was awarded Anantrai Raval literary award at a glittering ceremony on Friday, 18th January 2013 at Shree Hiralal Bhagwati Sabha
Grah in Ahmadabad.

 

A literary award is an award presented in recognition of a lauded literary piece of work.

 

This award was launched in memory of Late Pro. Anantrai Raval who was a serious scholar, celebrated critic, professor and editor.
He was given Ranjitram medal and was also honoured by Sahitya Academy Award, Delhi in the year 1974.

 

“It was a great honour for me to receive such a prestigious award that has been instigated in memory of such a great author” Mansukhbhai said.

He was the principal at Lokbharati Shala, Sanosara (est. by Manubhai Pancholi - Darshak) and was also the Secretary, Gujarat Sahitya Parishad.

 

Mansukhbhai was the Chair Person at Triveni Samaroh last year at Jamnagar.
Moreover he is sadhubhai of Dhirubhai Dhakan, President of the Akhil Bhartiya Soni Gnati Federation.
