Bharata Natyam Kuchipudi Arrngetram –

A Dream Fulfilled After Years Of Hard Work For Khushali

Khushali Vaya

Khushali Vaya, granddaughter of Dayalal Rattanshi Bhura Vaya & Pramilaben Vaya and daughter of Pratapbhai & Bhavnaben Vaya,

celebrated the triumph of dedication to achieve a goal of completing her Kuchipudi Arangetram on 9th August 2015 at Oshwal School

Auditorium, Nairobi. An audience of roughly 200 guests attended the Arangetram of Khushali Vaya, performing 12 solo dances from

Indian Classical dance Kuchipudi.

Arangetram means "ascending the stage". It marks the completion of dance training once the student has learned the intricacies and

theory of the art over many years. It signifies the dancer's graduating opportunity to show her mastery over the style of dance - Kuchipudi.

It is also an auspicious occasion where the artiste offers the art at the feet of the Guru and the Divine Dancer, Lord Nataraja.

The entire Vaya family is really proud of Khushali's recent achievement in the field of dance!
