Ishita Soni wins Gold Medal in Wrestling

Ishita d/o Charulben Soni, Editor of Lokswami Newspaper won Gold Medal in Girls Wrestling at Khel Mahakumbh organised by The Sport Authority of Gujarat
recognised by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
Sports Authority of Gujarat was established to facilitate implementation of state and national policies with respect to sports and to encourage and spread
awareness about sports.
Wrestling is a sport where one has to combat the forces of the opponent. Freestyle wrestling is very popular and is done by men and women.
Worldwide professional wrestling is managed by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) which was earlier known as the World Wrestling Federation (WWF).
The wrestling competition was held at Navsari on 19th November 2014.
Ishita beat off stiff competition to win the Gold Medal.
