Message from Pranlal's Family...

A personal message to all those that were able to attend the Prayer meeting and funeral both in person and virtually across the globe.

With the amount of outpouring of messages and calls we haven’t had the chance to respond to every one.

However, our heartfelt thanks goes out to each and every one of you for all your kind messages and of condolences that have been received. 

It has been truly overwhelming to see how many lives he actually touched. 

Although he is not with us anymore, his essence and ethos will reign supreme and will always remain a part of our lives.

It is with much sadness that we inform you of the passing away of our dearest Pranlal, creator, founder and webmaster of the Pattni Connection worldwide network.

Twenty years ago, Pranlal was inspired to create an online network for the Pattni community. There was no other global Pattni community communication system at that time; Pranlal single-handedly set up and operated the Pattni Connection website for many years. Pattni Connection grew from small beginnings to a worldwide community communications media and network, including a standalone website and Facebook group. Its primary purpose was, and continues to be, to maintain our roots; share news and celebrations; and keep our community connected. For many years Pranlal handled all Pattni Community announcements personally, voluntarily and at his own cost. Over the years, the website and Facebook group went from strength to strength working with Pattni samajs across the world, from the UK, USA, India and Africa. 

In 2018, Pranlal approached several community leaders in India, Kenya and the UK to form a Global Advisory Panel to take ownership of the website and created a separate legal entity to maintain the continuity of the Pattni Connection website, Facebook group and network. Pranlal’s dedication continued with ongoing support from the Advisory Panel and Assistant Webmasters.

Pranlal will always be remembered for his hard work and dedication to our community; his legacy lives on in the Pattni Connection worldwide network, for which the whole Pattni community are most grateful. Our deepest condolences to the family. 

We pray to the Almighty that his soul rests in eternal peace.
