Eulogy
from Ba's Grandchildren

Speech:

“Jai Shree Krishna

Ba had 12 children, 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She touched our hearts in lots of different ways and meant a lot of different things to us all. We would like to say a few words on behalf of all Ba's grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

We have lots of happy memories of her; she was strong but gentle and very special to us. She was magnetic, everyone was naturally drawn to her - maybe this was because she always took time to listen and put others first. She had bags of charm even when she was giving you a verbal slap. When she was upset with you, you'd know about it.

Ba was always independent and boy, she was stubborn. Every now and then
she would pull rank on you to get her way and did she get it. Even during her last days she said "Visa haji maylo nathi", because she didn't want to go without seeing all of her family.

And one thing everyone remembers about Ba is her passion for cooking and for feeding people. Her recipes are famous in the family – even her Shak Pizzas.

Ba always said that in this world, money is not everything. She cared for her family and believed happiness is in her heart.

Widowed at 41, Ba outlived 5 children, settled in a new country and to be honest, struggled more than anyone knew. But the thing about is that you couldn't ever see that in her because she would always give and never take.

She always told everyone not to care what other people think, do whatever makes you happy, and follow your own path.

There is a piece of Ba in each and every one of us - her legacy to us is her heart and for that she will be with us forever.

Om Shanti.”

Pujya Ba,
We all love you very much and will miss you extremely.  You will always
remain with us in our hearts. God bless your kind soul.  Our prayers to God to give you eternal peace.

Om Shanti

All your family members.

We wish to convey our sincere gratitude to all our relatives, friends and well wishers for their support, sympathy, and condolences by personal visit, telephone and by e-mail.
