Shree Keshavlal Thakershi Devraj Ghaghada

It is with great regret that we inform the members of our community that our son, brother and uncle Shree Keshavlal Thakershi Devraj Ghaghada, age 71 very sadly passed away last night Sunday, 27th December 2009, Posh Sud Dusum (10), 2066 in London. We are so sad that you are no longer with us. There are many compliments that may come to an individual in the course of a lifetime, but there is no higher tribute that to be loved by those who know you best. We all love and miss you dearly.

Om Namah Shivay

Life as some say is nothing more than a thread, you never know when it is going to break and it is certain to end one day or another. I stand here today on behalf of the younger generation that was lucky enough to know Motabhai as we all called him. He came across as man of few words. But he was a man with great intentions and unyielding desire to do no wrong. He spoke only the truth with affection and lived to learn the true meaning of empathy. I say this because he could never hurt anyone’s feelings, he knew how to relate to another human being and see the world through their eyes. He remained free from pride, free from false ego and completely detached from material desires. There are those who live their whole lives trying to achieve fame and fortune incorporating into their lives false ego and pride, but it is the silent heroes whose lives and ideals continue to inspire. These are my celebrities, these are my heroes and Motabhai was the perfect example. In this sense he has completed Gods work here on Earth.

So let us all be inspired by his values as we head towards the destiny of our own. These are values of hard work, sacrifice, kindness, empathy and faith because in the 71 years of his life I know this is what has shaped him and his future thereafter.

They say life is nothing but destiny and we can never know when all of our time will end. But what we do know is that if we are to live life to the fullest whilst enriching each our lives with the goodness of faith and applying them to our daily lives then our spiritual beings will be fulfilled with eternal happiness. Losing you has been very painful, but we all take comfort in the belief that God needed you more than anyone else here. We have no doubt that he has a much better place for you than what we earthly mortals have. We miss you, you may be gone but never forgotten and in the words of Gita Death is as sure for that which is born, as birth is for that which is dead. Therefore grieve not for what is inevitable.

Om Shanti: Shanti: Shanti:

We wish to convey our sincere gratitude to all our relatives, friends and well wishers for their support, sympathy, and condolences by personal visit, telephone and by e-mail.

We humbly pray that the almighty grants him everlasting peace.
