Vijay Pattni raised £405 for MacMillan Cancer Support UK
Snowdon Moonlight Hike Challenge on 5 August 2017

At the Summit of Mt Snowdon, Wales UK

In August 2017, Vijay set himself a difficult and important personal challenge to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support. He took part in the "Snowdon Moonlight Hike Challenge".

The challenge was to climb Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales UK (3560ft), above the sea level, lit only by the moon and a trusty head-torch.

He followed Llanberis Path to the Summit, at an altitude of 3560ft.

He set  to climb at 12.00am midnight and descended at 8.00am in the morning.

Standing at the summit by moonlight was an unforgettable experience, as will seeing the sunrise from the mountain slopes.

He had never undertaken such a challenge like this before, and even though he knew that the training is going to be tough, but it is going to be such an incredible opportunity for him to raise money for such a great cause.

He wanted to do something positive and make a difference that will help  to support  to change the lives of those who are battling with the illness and their families.
