Nepal earthquake is a human tragedy that’s still unfolding

 In the worst disaster to hit Nepal in the last 100 years, an earthquake measuring 7.9 on Richter scale has caused massive devastation. Its one of the greatest natural disaster of our time.

The death toll could reach 10,000

In some villages, about 90% of the houses have collapsed. The United Nations estimates that as many as eight million of Nepal’s 28 million people have had their lives disrupted by the earthquake.

Pattni Members joins FreeMasons to raise £50,000 for Nepal Earthquake Victims


Freemasons raised £50000 and sent the funds via red cross.


Pattni members who do not wished to be named, are the members of Freemasonry in UK. The UGLE is the Governing Body of Freemasonry in the UK and all Freemasons give charitable donations from which assistance is provided on a worldwide basis for Masonic as well as non-masonic causes.

our work load increases 30/40/50 fold and as we are a purely volunteer run organisation it may prove to be 100% accurate in our reporting back to you.

On Saturday 25 April 2015, a 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck an area of central Nepal, while a 6.7-magnitude tremor was felt less than 50 miles from the capital, Kathmandu, causing widespread devastation. Strong aftershocks continued to hit the region on Sunday 26 April.


Early reports indicate the loss of life to be over 5,000, with thousands of others injured and many more homeless and affected.
